Sound Doctor

These guys upgraded the sound system in my 2023 BMW X5 and the difference is amazing. Mark really knows his stuff and is a pleasure to work with. I'm not an audiophile, but I generally know what I like, and I really appreciated his kindness and patience throughout the whole process. Worth the drive down from Goleta. I only wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

I want to give these guys a review because they were super nice to me. I haven't had a sound system installed by them but I go to school down in Camarillo and I was in the process of setting up my truck's sound system. So I decided to pop in on my way home to see if they sold speaker wire. Anyhow long story short the guy on staff (I think he was the owner) just gave me a cut of wire free of charge! You don't really see that kind of helpful neighborly kind attitude these days with everyone trying to grind a buck out of everyone else. It really made a positive impression on me and I think it speaks to the quality of the people working at the business. If I ever end up living down near these guys I would definitely bring my truck or car to their shop because they made that good of an impression on me with their small act of kindness helping me out with some wire and not asking for anything in return. So if you're down in Camarillo or Ventura or that area consider going to get your sound issues looked at or your system installed by these guys. They run a friendly and professional shop.

Best spot for car audio and LED light replacement in ventura county. I needed a pro install for my 2015 subaru impreza and the Sound Doctor was amazing for this job i put off for years. They are highly accurate in their estimates because they inspect everything in person. Not some ballpark number over the phone with surprise increases later. I was so happy with my estimate in person that I brought in my mom’s 2015 forester for the same exact job. Nate even gave me a discount for that and the carplay radio (sony xav-ax3200) Long story short, i have clean, as close to OEM as u can get carplay in my 11 yr old subie, the sound is better the bluetooth is miles better and my lights are better than brand new. I can’t believe i drove this long without the upgrades. Solid mom & pop shop that does every little thing right for you. Thanks for everything Sound Doc!

Initially I went in for an aftermarket speaker audio issue that would drive anyone crazy. It was installed in a used vehicle I purchased so my knowledge was very limited. I left with it fixed at a great price and information on how to fix my other vehicle that has a mechanical issue. On top of that they also went above and beyond and professionally organized some other messy wires for a dashcam. Thank you very much Nate and Mark are fantastic and I will absolutely be returning to them for custom work and as things pop up as well 10/10 So glad I came across their business and will recommend them as often as I can

Amazing service and staff I live in Ventura and searched to find a quality firm that could do good and thorough work on my van. I first took it in for an “off the menu” installation and to repair a job first done by another radio installer. Both of those jobs were completed quickly and professionally. I have just had another installation completed today, and again, Nate and his crew did not disappoint. They give estimates in advance and keep their word regarding timing and cost. Why go anywhere else? Simply the best! Thanks Nate.
